We ended Bitcoin Basic Concepts: Part IV with a concept called Taproot, a soft fork that adds improvements to Bitcoin scripts, improving privacy and simplifying complex transactions. This is the latest (and most important) Bitcoin update.

Therefore, we need to understand why Taproot is so important to Bitcoin.
